As the founder of Teach Honduras I have a long standing passion for education, service, and community impact. My work is driven by a belief in showing up, building relationships, and creating meaningful opportunities for others. I have spent years gaining experience in healthcare and education. From clinical environments to directly working with students I always bring a practical approach to everything I do.

As a former school social worker, I am deeply passionate about advocating for the educational needs of all students. This commitment was further strengthened during my travels to Honduras, where I gained a deeper understanding of the challenges many students face. I am truly honored to support the efforts of Teach Honduras and to help expand access to educational opportunities for those who need them most.

I’m a full‑time engineer with a passion for philanthropy. I look forward to applying my critical thinking and communication skills towards my role as Treasurer. I am deeply honored to use my abilities to expand access to quality education for those most in need. I’m grateful to serve alongside this organization and contribute my time to such a meaningful cause.

As an experienced Product Design Specialist I’m a big picture thinker with a passion and vision to empathetically solve problems. I hope to take my professional experience and apply it to my role as Secretary. I'm honored that I get to apply my professional skills of communication and collaboration towards building a better world.

I’m a full time Project Manager who knows how to manage complex projects. I look forward to building repeatable processes and maximize our fundraising efforts. With a background in Biology and a teaching certificate, I know first hand the power of education. I'm passionate about aiding this program and building processes that support the students and their community. 

With a background in businness and marketing, I have witnessed firsthand the power educatoin. It was through my own pursuit of higher education that I earned my business degree and was able to apply that knowledge to my own entrepreneurial endeavors. I am excited to use those same skills to give back to the children of Honduras.

Eric teaches Social Science, Civics, Physical Education, Sports, and Religion. He began teaching in 2018 but previously ran rural community outreach programs and taught Bible School. His hobbies include rock and mineral exploration. He loves to share his knowledge with the students and help them learn life skills like construction and electrical work.

Abner teaches Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and English. Has been a teacher with us since 2018. He has special interests in engineering, cooking, and music. His hobbies include computers and cooking.

Carina teaches Spanish, Art, and Technology. She’s been a teacher with us since 2023. She has a passion for teaching and has dedicated herself to inspiring our students to discover their own voice through creativity and critical thinking. Her hobbies include family, exploring new places, connecting with nature, and getting to know different cultures. She enjoys hiking and landscapes that inspire her art.
