Promoting Higher Education
The mission of this organization is to expand access to secondary and higher education opportunities for underprivileged children throughout Honduras. We collaborate with local government agencies, educational institutions, parachurch organizations, churches, and community groups to develop, fund, and operate educational programs serving students in grades seven through nine.
In many regions of Honduras, public education is only guaranteed through the sixth grade. Continued education beyond this level often requires tuition and associated expenses that are unattainable for many families. As a result, numerous students are unable to pursue further academic instruction despite their potential and desire to learn.
Recognizing this critical need, our organization is committed to removing barriers to education and creating opportunities for students to continue their academic development. Through strategic partnerships and the generosity of our supporters, we are able to provide access to quality educational programs, instructional resources, and supportive learning environments that empower students to succeed both academically and personally.
We are honored to have made a meaningful impact within the communities we serve. To date, we have provided high school-level educational opportunities to 79 students and have achieved a 92.4% graduation rate. These outcomes reflect not only academic achievement, but also the dedication of our students, educators, and community partners who share in our commitment to educational advancement and long-term community development.
